Image Description Banner: White rectangular banner with sun at the top with rainbow colored sunrays from the center to the edges. Flier reads Flier reads “Accessible Virtual Pride Celebration with MouthWater Disability Dance Festival. An online event. July 4-6, 2025. CallingUpJustice.com/Accessible-Virtual-Pride-2025/ .” There are three logos: Calling Up Justice a Black & White Logo that says calling up with an arrow pointing up, the One Free Community a Purple Logo with rainbow letters reads OFC, & with the words MouthWater in white font on a blue gradient circle logo. Dark Pink lips drawn with mouth agape, teeth parted and blue water dripping out.

This was our Third Annual Accessible Virtual Pride produced with and for our disabled community and our LGBTQIA2s+ community, with allies welcome. As an organizing strategy this event collaborates with different pride celebrations across the country to help them increase their accessibility and livestream their events throughout the year. July 4 was the best weekend to produce this event because it’s Disability Pride month and also gives us the opportunity to celebrate US instead of the U.S. The people make places great.

Our Annual Accessible Virtual Pride was born from our disabled queer community members not being included in local in-person prides. Whether that was due to the lack of covid precautions or inaccessible venues, many events let go of their accessible initiatives. We listened to our community members and decided to work together to put together this event. It has been a resounding success with many saying this was the first pride they were ever able to attend!

2025 Accessible Virtual Pride was a multi-day event as well as being a year long accessible experience. We have completed our day of workshops and the variety show and dance party. The LGBTQIA2S+ Oasis is open in the Digital Encampment where you can still enjoy the art gallery, check out the vendor booths, watch the variety show, take political action, and visit Mouthwater Cuntry for hours of burlesque entertainment. We recommend you try the Scavenger Hunt first in Mouthwater Cuntry! Below you can explore direct links to our 2025 archival pride materials

Our 2025 Virtual Pride featured Mouthwater Dancers. MouthWater is a curated collaboration of QTBIPOC disabled artists and the culmination of years of artistic vision from Saira Barbaric (they, he, she, ze). Saira is a nonbinary Black disabled hedonist fascinated by birth, death and rebirth. They are a maker of porn, performance art, costumes, paintings and events. Barbaric grounds their work in mediums and venues considered both high and low art with the aim at weakening the barrier between the two. After a BFA in costuming for theater, Barbaric worked in film and nightlife with an ongoing fixation on crafts and art objects.  Calling Up Justice supported their live festival in 2024 and now will be building their new digital territory MOUTHWATER CUNTRY featuring new performers, a cool gathertown space, and the CripDance Gallery.

2025 AVP Dance Party

After the Variety Show we headed to the Digital Encampment into the jungle themed dance club inside Mouthwater Cuntry. Dj GJ played a curated music video playlist based on our music requests. Folks had fun conversations and we danced for hours. What an awesome way to close the event!
